Oficiální mapy Garmin ke stažení s Mapsource instalátorem
Ať již z jakéhokoliv důvodu nechcete používat Mapy Zdarma, otočíte se zřejmě po „kvalitních“ komerčních produktech. Zde je seznam volně stažitelných produktů / dem – nutná registace na stránách lokálního garmin prodejce aby byly mapy zobrazeny v navigaci.
TOPO – mapy s kvalitním pokrytím, zpravidla 1:50000 a lepší, zpravidla obsahuje i variantu ROAD.
ROAD – mapy pro navigace v autech, většinou jen dopracvní síť + POI jako benzínky, hotely ..

I am urgently in search of a Garmin map covering the Ionian Islands such as Zakynthos or Kefalonia. I have evaluated some standard Garmin products but the coverage of thes islands is mostly very poor.
As I mainly use these maps on the Garmin GPSMaps 60CS for hiking (not to drive around) I need a large level of detail.
Currently I am using EUROGREECE from P.Mapdekode – which are accurate to a certain degree – but have issues when I want to edit the map (using MapEdit) to ‘draw’ the tracks I have been walking.
I would like to ‘try-out’ the Autodrive Hellas V1.60 but
1. I have no idea where to buy it or what is costs
2. I am afraid that the price of the map will not be in balance with what I am using is for (only the Ionian Islands)
Honestly I have to admit I have been looking for download sites but all you find there is rubbish that does not work at all
If you feel you can help me out, I would be very obliged.

This is exactely what I meant. The ‘AD Hellas V1.60′ download is exactely the same stuff as you can find on the original website.
When you try running it, it opens an installation window in a very ’strange’ language, ending with an error message (most probabily saying that no official version was detected on the PC)
What is the added value of these forums ????

1, You can test some Greece map from http://fatbozz.towerofglass.net/v2/garmin-mapy/ – There are some great maps from Elsinga family. Its free too.
2, Why not drawin for Openstreetmap ? Coverage of Zakynthos is poor, but you can increase map level. http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=37.788&lon=20.857&zoom=11&layers=0B00FTF there are „view“ You can export all OSM maps into IMG garmin map file format.
